Quarterly Book Projects
Each quarter, you will read an SSR book and complete a project about the book you read. You will receive information from your teacher about what genre (style) of book on which you are to focus, and you will be given a chance to check out a book from our school library to read for your project. If you choose to read a book from your personal library, be sure to show it to your teacher first to be sure it is an appropriate selection.
A large portion of this project is the group presentation. You will receive more information about this from your teacher, as well. No need to panic... we will work with you to raise your comfort level and help you build confidence with public speaking, which is a lifelong skill.
